Life Before CHB:
Meg lived in the city of San Fransisco, California. She always thought that she shouldn't be there, and her family enforced those feelings. Her father, after finding her on his doorstep, remarried when she was four. He had two other children, two boys named Ralph and Denys, and they constantly made her feel as if she didn't belong. However; Meg never ran away because her youngest step-brother, Denys, had that same feeling. She didn't pay any attention to it, not really thinking a feeling of any importance. Finally, she and Denys ran away when Meg was ten, Denys two years younger than her.

They traveled across the country, because they felt as if their parents would chase after them if they stayed to near San Francisco. One day, Denys was hit by a car in Nebraska City. Meg ran away from the scene, terrified of hospitals, and kept on running. She sneaked aboard a random train and ended up in New York. She was aimlessly running through New York, and got on another train and traveled to Miami, Florida.((Bet you thought that I'd have found by a satyr LOL))

Meg sneaked aboard a plane( she was getting quite good at sneaking around) and was flown into France, where she was taken in by an old couple. Meg lived with them until she was 13, when she got bored of France. You see, Meg hated staying in the same place for too long. She sneaked aboard a plane( This time making sure it was bound for New York) And flew back to New York. After a year of living on the streets, she was found by a satyr and taken to Camp.

Denys can grow vines. The vines are four feet long at the most, and 2 inches thick. He can also control them and make them for an instance wrap around somebody's legs. However, they are very easy to break out of. He can do this five times a day with a ten minute recharge between each time. He will be exhausted after the fifth time.
Life Before CHB:
Denys was born to Kristine Anderson in San Francisco. His step- father, Thomas, thought that Denys was his child, so he treated him even better than he treated his demigod daughter, Megan. His life was fairly uneventful until he was 6. Being a child of the Olympians, monsters caught his scent easily. Thomas blamed it on Megan, knowing that she was a demigod. The monster attacks were regular soon, and Denys's feelings that he didn't belong in San Fransisco increased. He finally ran away with Meg when he was eight and she ten.

They wandered around the country for a year, mainly staying in Nebraska. One day Denys was hit by a car, Megan fleeing the scene, terrified out of her wit. When Denys awoke, all he could remember was the name of a place: New York City. Their parents had discussed moving there, but decided against it. Denys, once let out of the hospital, tried to journey there.

However, he couldn't get any method of transportation. When he tried to sneak on to a plane, he was caught and taken to an orphanage. After two years there, he was adopted by a couple moving to New York. The only reason he went with them was because he wanted to get to New York. At this point a very small bit of his memory returned; he remembered his sister, Meg.

Denys lived with his adopted parents for three years, not knowing that his real mother had given up search for him. He never really was close to his adopted parents, who coincidentally had the last name of Anderson. One day, not a week after his 13th birthday, a satyr found him and took him to camp.

Life Before CHB:
Cas wasn't created in the usual way, considering that Hestia took the same oath that Artemis did. Hestia fell in love with Eric Stone, and said that she would give him anything. What Eric wanted was a little daughter. Hestia went back to Olympus and created a girl out of fire from her hearth. She sent her back down to earth.

Cas lived in a house up in Northern Vermont. Her "Father" was a loving and caring man, always checking with her before he did anything. Yet there was always something sad about him, for his daughter reminded him of Hestia. One day, when they was driving home on an icy road, the car skidded out of control and smashed into a tree. Cas was only five at the time, but Eric had taught how to call emergency services. By the time they arrived, Cas's Father was beyond recovery. He died in the ambulance, Cas watching. His last words were; Look for the hearth. Cas has been trying to find out what he meant.

Cas was put into foster care. Her foster family would always find her kneeling by the fire place, seeming to be talking to the hearth. At her school, she was teased because of her personality. She stopped talking to anyone, and was mostly a loner. She had one friend, named Anthony, who was also teased like she was because he limped when he walked. One day, several of the bullies turned into various monsters and tried to kill Cas and Anthony. Anthony killed them, putting the two on the run. He brought Cas to camp, at age twelve, where she was claimed by Hestia, and found the meaning of her father's last words.

Life Before CHB:
Katrina's mother was a person who was always fascinated by hurricanes. She would go down to a place were a hurricane was going on and just standing there, letting the winds blow around her. She met Aeolus there and they both fell in love. When Tirana had her child, Aeolus left with no explanation, sending Tirana into a state of depression. She wouldn't speak, and on windy days Tirana would be found outside. But that's enough about Katrina's Mother. Now for Kat herself.

Katrina was named after Hurricane Katrina, the very famous one. They at first lived in Florida, but moved to New Orleans, her mother in search of another massive hurricane. From a very young age, Kat actually seemed to be the one who took care of her mother.

One day, Kat's mother went out into a storm when Kat was seven. She never returned. Kat tried to keep up the act that her mom was still alive, not wanting to be put in foster care, but finally she realized it wasn't possible. Kat ran away after a year and ended up in New York, where she managed to provide for herself for one year. She was nine when a satyr finally found her, and she has been at camp ever since.

Xana can create orbs of sunlight. The largest the orbs can be are about the size of a basketball, and all they can do is temporally blind someone. People can move or dodge, as they must directly hit the person to work. The blindness lasts for about five minutes if it's the basketball sized orb, and she can do this seven times per day. She needs a ten minute recharge time between each time.
Life Before CHB:
Xana was born in South America, orphaned when she was three months old. She was taken to an orphanage when she was two, after people came to her village and took the orphans to a "good" orphanage. Unfortunately, the orphanage was evil and they forced the orphans above age seven to work in a diamond mine. Xana tried to run away several times, but she just couldn't make it out. Finally, she found a way out and leading a group of ten orphans, escaped.

They sneaked aboard a cargo ship headed to America. When they reached America, Xana was caught and put in an orphanage in New York. She still has no idea of what happened to her friends, who weren't caught and are probably roaming the country. She was adopted by Crystal Shay, a daughter of Eirene who suspected that Xana was a demigod.

Monsters attacked, forcing Crystal to send Xana to camp, where she remains to this day. Xana was claimed by Apollo and is teased due to the fact she has no musical talent and has nothing that Apollo kids can do.
Notes About Character:
Okay, She can't sing and has no musical talent what so ever, she is awful at writing poems or anything for that matter, and a terrible archer. Oh yes, she can't draw for the life of her. It's quite ironic, which is why she is coming into existence.

Antarctica can create snow! She can do this about five times a day. The amount of snow she can create is a four feet by four feet square, the snow about three inches deep. She also can withstand extreme cold, but this doesn't drain her. It's like Percy's ability to breath underwater.
Life Before CHB:
Antarctica ((Odd name, I know)) was born at Khione's palace in Montreal. She was dropped off on the door step of Alexander Davis's house, who didn't know that she was there for about a day. Finally, when he opened his door, he thought that the little bundle on his doorstep was nothing but dead. He was surprised to see little Antarctica alive and well. He took care of her, naming her after the coldest continent on earth.

Nothing especially interesting happened in Antarctica's life until she started going to school. At first it was completely fine, but monsters smelled her out. You see, the monsters up there had adapted to the small amount of demigods by training themselves to smell out Boreas and Khione demigods at an early age. So Antarctica was attacked numerous times, somehow keeping them away.

She eventually had to move down to New York because of her father's job. The attacks diminished almost immediately, leaving Antarctica very confused. Yet she ignored it. At one point, a satyr came and took her to camp when she was 15.
Notes About Character:
Antarctica has a condition know as Synesthesia, which causes her to see different shapes and colors every time someone says a word or when she reads.

Biography*:
Time for a story, one about the life of Olive B. Montgomary. Now to properly tell this story, you must first know about Olive's father, Micheal Montgomary. Now Micheal was a kind of guy who gets depressed often. He was an investigator of paranormal events, namely ghosts. He wasn't a very good one, too. He found them alright, but could never prove it. Anyways, he met Melinoe at his job while investigating a haunted mansion, and they fell in love. The end result was Olive, who was sent to Micheal's house two weeks after birth.

Olive grew up in a household with a depressed father and his girlfriend, who soon after became Olive's Step-mother. The step-mother, named Tiffany, was evil to poor Olive right from the start. She would pretend to be nice when her father was looking, but abused her later. Olive was too afraid to speak up against her.

When Olive turned five, her father went missing. As it turned out, Tiffany was not only a psychopath, but she was also a murderer. She found that Olive had abilities that could bring her money, and decided that she wanted her for her own. As Olive's only surviving relative, she adopted her.

Olive was forced to use her power of summoning ghosts to get Tiffany a successful ghost hunting career. Of course, Olive was only five so her powers were extremely limited. If she didn't summon them well enough, the result was whippings. Olive couldn't take it one day, and ran out into the busy streets of Manhattan. She actually was hit by a car and ended up breaking her arm so badly that from the elbow down had to be amputated.

Tiffany seemed to put less pressure on six-year-old Olive for a few weeks after her recovery. However, she soon got back to abusing her. At this time, Olive discovered her power of shadow traveling, and ran away from her abusive step-mother.

She spent three years on the run, all over the United states. She met a few demigods, two twin sons of Athena, and a daughter of Enyo. She stayed with them, learning about her powers and about the demigod world.

When her friends, who had left Camp for a more adventurous life, decided she needed actual training from a professional, they brought her to camp. She has been there since she was ten.

Life Before CHB:
Louisa was the second born of her sisters. She and Leigh were sent to an orphanage about a week after they were born, only knowing her name and the fact that her mother didn't want her. Louisa's younger sister, Leigh, was adopted when they were both one. Louisa lived at the orphanage until she was twelve.

When Louisa was finally adopted and taken to America, the first thing she got was a CD of the famous Lydia Austen. She would stay in her room all day, listening and imagining that Lydia was her sister.

One day, her adopted parents, who had changed Louisa's last name of Austen to Chua for safety reasons, told her of her true family. Louisa, when being told that she was Lydia Austen's Identical twin, demanded to get to go to a concert. Her family being poor, she saved up for a good seat and backstage pass for two years. At age fifteen, she bade farewell to her adopted parents and traveled to New York City. The same satyr that discovered Lydia found her, and took her to Camp. Louisa's adopted parents are the only one's who know were the famous Lydia is.

Life Before CHB:
Leigh is the youngest triplet of her family. She and her sister, Louisa, were sent off to an orphanage a week after birth. Sh was adopted at age one, and taken to America. Her adopted family was kind to their ordinary daughter until her vast knowledge was discovered. Slowly, her parents pressured her to do well at quiz shows, to study continuously, and to become a young genius. If she didn't succeed enough to their standards, they would punish her by forcing her to sleep in the freezing garden shed. Leigh became a young genius, certainly, but also her life was shattered.

At age twelve(Twelve seems to be a significant age in this family), Leigh Austen was almost as famous as her long lost sister, Lydia. Monsters scented her out, attacking numerous times. Her ignorant mortal parents blamed these on her, thus inflicting even more punishments on her. Leigh couldn't take it one day. She attempted suicide, failing when her parents caught her.

Leigh was fifteen when a satyr found her, as a monster attack left her parents dead. She was taken to Camp, right then and there.
