Andrew walked into the courtyard and set on a bench and looked through his book.

Kat walked out of Cabin 24 for, heading for Chiron's office. She decided against going immediately, instead walking around and looking at all the cabins.

Kat walked past a boy who was reading a book. She naturally assumed Athena, since who else would be caught reading? "Hey." She said casually, looking straight ahead.

Kat really couldn't think of anything to say. Time for the ultimate conversation starter. "So, What's your name? Mine's Kat." She says, looking at the cabins still ahead of her. Her personal favorite was Hades, although it was mostly empty.

"I assume you're a son of Athena?" Kat says, trying to change the ordinary greeting up a little. It didn't work.

Wind blowing through her hair? How cliche he thought. "That's cool" he said genuinely.

If Andrew had thought anything about her gust of wind, it didn't show in his face. Kat smiled her lovely smile, revealing her perfect teeth. "Thanks." She said very sweetly and what she hoped was charming. Some of Kat's best friends were Aphrodite girls and taught her to be charming and flirty in all of her actions.

Was she trying to flirt with him? This had been the first time this summer. "You have a very pretty smile" he said in his British accent

He had a British accent. In Kat's opinion, that was very cute. She didn't have any special accents, which was a pity. "Why thank you." She said, just as sweetly as before. She was very proud of her smile.

Kat thought for a moment, even though she had memorized each year. She fingered her necklace, which had eight beads on it. Her Aphrodite friends had taught her to always think before talking, especially if it was something she memorized. Act as normal as possible. "Eight years, how about you?" A bit of pride creeped into her voice as she spoke.

Kat almost looked horrified at how he remembered it, but she didn't at the last moment. "It's fine." She said with a small laugh. "So, I'm guessing you were in the Titan Wars?" She said, hoping that that would impress him. She was in both, not that she really did anything spectacular. She did find a really nice phone, though.

Oh, no he was being flirty. She didn't know exactly what to do, but she knew it was generally the boy who did the asking. The girl just accepted of refused.

Kat nodded. " Sure, cutie." She says. Kat didn't have enough time to think of a nickname. She honestly never thought that she'd actually go on a date with an Athena boy.

Kat shrugged. "I don't really care, as long as it is outside this place." She really could use some adventure. It'd be a bonus if it was somewhere romantic. She did have a few nice dresses stowed away somewhere in her cabin.
