The Mess Hall!

The Mess Hall fills with food as it gets ready to be occupied by hungry campers.

Brianna walked in, one hand on the polished dagger strapped to her belt. She surveyed the scene in front of her warily, her instincts kicking in. A few campers turned to look at her, but they directed their attention at the food again. Brianna sighed and watched them eat. She walked over to the corner and sat down. She stared at her empty utensils, wondering what to do.

Shelby shadow traveled in and walked down to where she saw a girl sitting in the corner. Of course, campers were starign whispering about how she might be Nico and Bianca's sister. Shelby just rolled her eyes and sat down "Hey" she said.

Brianna turned her gaze to the girl who had just sat down next to her. "Hello," she said, sure the girl wouldn't understand her British accent. "I'm Brianna, but call me Bri."

Shelby clicked her tongue "Shelby" she said and nodded "Nice accent you got there" she said drumming her fingers on the table

"Thanks, Shelby," Brianna said, smiling a little. "Who is your godly parent? Mine's Horus," she added. She picked up her glass, wondering what to do with it.

Shelby was silent for a moment then finally spoke "Hades" she said like it was no bid deal "But if you dare put me in my brothers or sister's shadow you will perish" she said seriously

Brianna felt her temper shorten. She clenched her fists under the table, her knuckles white. Counting to ten, she finally said, "Cool -- and you should know, as a daughter of the Egyptian war god, I have a hot temper that can be triggered easily."

"Oh right" she said "Sorry" she said "I'm just tired of being put in my siblings shadow" she said

Brianna glared at her glass, not exactly paying much attention to Shelby. She cursed in Egyptian -- something she didn't notice she had done many times -- and asked Shelby, "What do you do with this glass? I feel like smashing it!"

"You talk to it" she said then turned to her glass and whispered "Dr.Pepper" and it filled up with the drink.

"Um, okay," Brianna said, wondering if Shelby had gone crazy. She tried it anyways, "Apple juice." She stared as the glass filled up with brownish-gold liquid. She took a sip of it. Not bad, she thought.

"So who is this Chiron?" she asked

"I think he's the centaur who trained Hercules or something..." Brianna rummaged in her mind for Greek mythology -- she was mostly interested in Egyptian myths. "I'm new here so I don't know exactly," she added quickly.

Brianna shrugged, getting irritated by the noise of Shelby's fingers drumming on the table. "Okay," she said, gulping down the rest of the apple juice (she wasn't one for table manners).

Cas walks into the Mess Hall, taking in all the delicious smells from all the food. She was really quite hungry, so anything would taste good to her. She walks up to the line of hungry demigods and stands at the end, waiting for food.

Ooc: I have to go very soon. It always happens just as I;m starting a RP.

I got in line next to a girl to get my food, "Why are lines allways long?" I mumbled. I grew some sunflowers and ate their seeds(keeley)

Cas turned her head to the sound of a girl talking. She watched as she grew some sunflowers and ate their seeds, guessing either Demeter or maybe Persephone. She always tried to guess the god parent by either the person's name or actions. At the moment, it was her actions. The line moves up a little, not very noticeable to the demigods who had food, but it was to Cas. She wasn't looking forward to sitting alone at the Hestia table, even though she knew there was some other children of Hestia.

I looked a head to see a girl look at me, "Want some?" I picked a few off of the flower and gave it to her.

Cassidy nods. "Thanks." She says, very happy for food. She wasn't going to sacrifice these seeds to her mother. Cas eats them and looks around the person in front of her, getting slightly impatient. The line moved up another tiny bit. She decided to start a conversation with the girl behind her, to take her mind off the hunger. "So, what's your name?" She asks. "I'm Cas."

"Considering that you epically grew a sunflower out of nowhere, I'm guessing that you're a daughter of Demeter." Cas says, triumphantly. She was thrilled with her brilliant deducting skills.
